At this time we are referring all training inquiries to locations in and around Lebanon County. Below is a non-exhaustive list of some of the locations our members have used in the past. The listing is not an endorsement of the Lebanon County Kennel Club

Our training classes are for dogs 6 months of age and older. You will learn how to teach your dog through positive training methods the basic social and obedience skills (sit, down, stay, come when called, and walk on a loose lead). Dog behavior and possible resolutions to problem behaviors will be discussed.

For our classes, you would need to bring a folding chair, driver's license, lots of soft treats in small pieces for your dog (hot dogs, string cheese, etc.), a buckle or quick-release collar, and a 4-foot or 6-foot lead.

Current vaccination records from your vet (specifically rabies and DHLPP) ARE REQUIRED to be shown at the first session. No dog will be allowed to participate in class without current vaccination records.

Basic Obedience Training Course Registration Application

When classes are available, please carefully fill out the above registration form, sign both sides, and return along with a check made payable to Lebanon County Kennel Club, Inc. The cost is $75 per dog ($55 per dog if handler is age 55 or older.) Recently adopted shelter dogs receive $10 discount with proof of adoption. The class is limited to 10 dogs.

You will be notified ONLY if you cannot get into your requested class.
