Hug-a-Dog Booth at Women’s Expo a Huge Success
LCKC teamed up with the Harrisburg Kennel Club for a “Hug-a-Dog” booth at the Women’s Expo on October 5, 2019, and we were a huge success! Hundreds of people came into the booth to pet our dogs and shared the stories of their pets. Many commented that we were the best exhibit (and the most fun!). Even cat owners got into the ring for a hug or two.
THANK YOU to everyone who stopped by and donated to the Purple Leash. We raised $543 for this worthwhile cause and we had a great time meeting so many people who shared our love of dogs and understood the problems facing domestic violence victims and their pets.
