Dogs should be 6 months of age or older. You will learn how to teach your dog basic social and obedience skills (sit, down, stay, come when called, and walk on a loose lead) using positive training methods. Dog behavior and possible resolutions to problem behaviors will be discussed.
Please bring a folding chair, driver's license, lots of soft treats in small pieces for your dog (hot dogs, string cheese, etc.), a buckle or quick-release collar, and a 4' or 6' lead.
You MUST also bring the current vaccination records from your vet (specifically rabies and DHLPP) to the first session. No dog will be allowed to participate in class without current vaccination records.
Classes will be held Tuesday evenings from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. from May 23 to June 27 at the Quentin Fireman's Park on corner of Locust and Alden Lanes in Quentin. For a location map, click here.
Please carefully fill out the above registration form, sign both sides, and return along with a check made payable to L.C.K.C. The cost is $75 per dog ($55 per dog if handler is age 55 or older.) Recently adopted shelter dogs receive $10 discount. The class is limited to 10 dogs.
You will only be notified ONLY if you cannot get into your requested class.
